I just saw an announcement for this cool Free WordPress Theme for those wanting to show off their portfolios. It can be used to display your photos, web designs, products or videos.

The theme has custom fields to pull in thumbnails and auto resize them. Clients name and link to the work can also be set using custom fields and are then displayed above the image on the homepage and to the left on the single post page.
